Tasmania, Australia's island state, a 45 minute drive south of Hobart at
Gardners Bay 6 km from Cygnet in the Huon Valle 20 km from the
areas major town Huonville. Talune farm tourist cabins offer good, affordable, family
accommodation. Set in a grassed apple orchard area the cabins offer a safe spot for
the kids to play. Our farm stay cabins are an ideal base to explore Tasmania's
southern area from Bruny Island to the
beautiful coastline of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, farm land, Hastings caves and southern rain forests. Drive the Huon
Trail as far south as
you can by road in Australia, exploring Cygnet and the Huon Valley, inspect the
huge bronze whale at Cockle Creek and visit the Tahune Air Walk knowing that your accommodation is all taken
care of as you explore Tasmania's Huon Valley the heart of the apple Isle.
The cabins are fully self contained with a double bed in one bedroom and triple bunk
beds in the other. There is a full size bath with shower above. The kitchen living
area has a full size stove all eating and cooking equipment is provided as is all linen
and towels. The cabins are provided with a clock radio, TV and all electric heating.

Once the home of Talune Wildlife Park with its Tasmanian devils, wombats, koala, platypus and kangaroo.
Talune now operates as a small Lowline ( miniature angus ) stud so you will be able to see these 'little cows' and other farm animals when you stay with us.
